By the time a child starts kindergarten, 85 percent of the child's brain has developed. Everyday life can be a learning experience for children. That’s why UWSEMS has partnered with several organizations to provide Born Learning Trails in our area’s parks and walking tracks.
These trails consist of a series of 10 interactive signs offering parents and caregivers an opportunity to engage children in learning activities while playing in parks and recreational areas. Born Learning Trails help young children boost language, reading, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Use the list below to find a trail near you!
