A new year, the time when people reflect on the past year and resolve to make changes for the next. Typically resolutions involve habit changes to improve the quality of life. Depending on the individual’s motivation and self-discipline, the life span of resolutions vary. Resolutions do not only have to be personal, they can be focused on larger entities. What if you resolved to help make the Pinebelt better?
Our community- civic organizations, small businesses, schools, neighbors, restaurants, boutiques, you- adds to the flavor of life we have in the Pinebelt. We support the welfare of our community by supporting our local entrepreneurs. We shop local. We eat local. We even drink local. Why not give local?
A donation to United Way of Southeast Mississippi supports our local community- our neighbors. Donations are distributed between 19 service partners that are making impacts in education, health, financial stability and support services within Forrest, Lamar, Perry and Marion counties. As you begin to prepare for 2016, what if you made the resolution to GIVE LOCAL?
